Conceived as a more powerful alternative to genre-based sample libraries, it offers sample-accurate live drum loops with emphasis on diversity of sound, extremely creative processing techiques, but with the real feel of a human performance. Real kits are the foundation of the sound of each break, although some incorporate additional live triggered analog drum machines or software triggered sounds. Each break has been designed to loop perfectly as one bar.
The convenient one-screen interface is based on Native Instruments' Intakt sampler for tremendous sound-shaping abilities without disrupting the creative flow. It includes a first-class multimode filter, an envelope follower, 2 LFOs, effects, and more. The loops can be synced to tempo via the Beat Machine or the Time Machine.
The Beat Machine divides loops into their individual hits so they can be played at a wide range of tempos without pitch change. You can also assign individual settings for pitch, playback, pitch envelope, amp envelope, and effects to each hit. A MIDI file of each loop can be easily exported so that groove, accent, and feel can be manipulated in any host sequencer.
The Time Machine time-stretches or compresses loops in real time. You can sync, stretch, and pitch the loops as well as filter, effect, and modulate them. A powerful sound-shaping filter, flexible envelopes, syncable LFOs, and distortion, syncable delay, and lo-fi effects can inject even more energy and individuality into the loops.
