Need a great chorus? Catch the wave with the Tsunami!!! The Tsunami combines the warmth of pure analog circuitry with some innovative extras that put it in a league by itself. Aside from the Chorus, the Tsunami has an Ambience mode which may be selected as an alternative. This puts a small delay (0-30ms) between left and right channels and allows for a huge stereo spread even if the chorus mode is not selected. Typical stereo chorus units will mono-ize your signal when chorus is shut off, but the Ambience mode of the Tsunami enables stereo imaging at all times. Controls for Rate, Depth and Delay can provide from subtle to extreme amounts of thick chorus without changing original signal content. Many vintage pedals allowed a moderate amount of direct signal to pass through the box without affecting the original signal, making them sound very transparent and rich without ever losing character. The Tsunami captures this aspect, which is one reason why the Tsunami will sound awesome with clean and super-saturated tones. The Tsunami's heavy-duty extruded metal chassis is built to take a beating with counter-sunk controls and sturdy switches. No cheap plastic here! Like all Rocktron effects, signal integrity is maintained by providing a direct signal path, with the effect making the Tsunami one of the only chorus pedals that works well for both clean and super-saturated tones.
